I am proud to announce that we are now sponsoring a local Sportsman called Henry Lawson, Henry works for one of our biggest customers Foot Anstey Solicitors. Henry has an amazing story and is definitely somebody that we are very proud to be able to sponsor and support
Henry first started taking part in the sport of Triathlon in September 2008 as part of his attempt to loose weight and get into shape, but things did not get off to a good start because in Henry's first triathlon he got disqualified for taking the wrong turn on the bike leg of the race.
Things have moved on a lot since those days and now after loosing a lot of weight and getting himself race fit Henry has completed many events including the Taunton Dean Aquathon and Triathlon, the Olympic distance Plymouth triathlon and not forgetting the Plymouth Half Marathon, and the Dartmoors Classic cycle challenge (105 miles) the last two of which Henry gave me a good run for my money. (he is a lot younger though)
This year Henry will be again competing in the London Triathlon (Olympic Distance), Half Ironman event, Plymouth Half Marathon, Plymouth Triathlon and many others.
City cycle couriers we would like to wish Henry all the best with all the events that Henry has planned and we look forward to continuing to sponsor him in the future.
